El CERMI Estatal convoca para el domingo día 2 de diciembre de 2012, víspera del Día Internacional de las Personas con Discapacidad, a las 12,00 horas, en Madrid una marcha pública bajo el lema SOS DISCAPACIDAD – Derechos, Inclusión y Bienestar a Salvo. La Marcha arranca de la CALLE DE GOYA ESQUINA PRÍNCIPE DE VERGARA, baja toda la calle de Goya, cruza la calle de Serrano y finaliza en los JARDINES DEL DESCUBRIMIENTO.
La marcha SOS discapacidad será la actividad central de 2012 de la estrategia de contestación activa de la discapacidad organizada contra la regresión de derechos y la pérdida de protección social como consecuencia de las políticas de los distintos poderes públicos en estos momentos de aguda crisis económica. Se pretende asimismo, llamar la atención sobre la situación de la discapacidad en España y la necesidad de tomar medidas que preserven los logros alcanzados para este grupo de población que permitan mantener un nivel de vida adecuado. Es una marcha de afirmación y no está planteada ni busca la beligerancia contra nadie.
Para el éxito de esta marcha del día 2 de diciembre, pedimos el compromiso de las personas con discapacidad, las familias, profesionales, personas voluntarias, simpatizantes, …
